We are doing research exploring new frontiers to visualize cities metabolism in an innovative, interactive, and dynamic way.

Smart cities bloomed thanks to the widespread use of digital technologies, IoT and Big Data. As of today, what is lacking to the smart city concept is the inclusion of human needs and citizens direct feedback.

We believe that the inclusion of urban metabolism studies leveraging smart cities technologies and the powerful digital twin visualization potential will open a new way for the creation of advanced urban planning tools. Towards an inclusive, just and sustainable design for the cities of the future.
